What It Does

• Product and Variant Synchronisation — Items from Business Central are created or updated as products in Plytix, including SKU, GTIN, label and product family. Variant groups are published as parent products with each variant linked to its parent.
• Flexible Attribute Mapping — Item attributes map to Plytix text, number, decimal, yes/no, dropdown and multi-value attributes. Each mapping can target parents, variants or both, be marked as required, and skip empty values.
• Dropdown Option Maintenance — New attribute values are added to the matching Plytix dropdown attributes during export, so option lists never need to be maintained by hand.
• Product ID Write-Back — Plytix product IDs, and parent IDs for variants, are written back to the item in Business Central, creating a lasting link for all later updates.
• Product Import — Products modified in Plytix are imported into Business Central on a schedule, with variants arriving together with their parent. Large catalogues are split into smaller batches automatically.
• Enriched Attributes and Calculated Values — Plytix attributes map to Business Central item attributes, including locale-specific values. Calculated attributes derive new values from imported data without changes in Plytix.
• Product Images — Image assets stored in Plytix are brought into Business Central alongside product data, with the Plytix thumbnail marked as the main image.
